The Mayor’s Office of Cultural Affairs/Chastain Art Center Gallery opens "WOMEN IN THE MOMENTS OF LIFE" featuring the works of artists Pehah Jacques Soro from Côté d’Ivoire and Casimir Bationo from Burkina Faso. The exhibition is curated by Jean Patrick Guichard and opens Saturday at 2pm January 21st, 2023 and runs until through March 31st, 2023.

Because each woman is unique in her story, in her itinerary, in her social condition and her daily activity. Through her joys, her sorrows, her hopes, her ambitions, her dreams, she is constantly reinventing herself in her own way, every moment!
It is THOSE moments that the artists Pehah Jacques Soro from Côté d’Ivoire and Casimir Bationo from Burkina Faso want to capture as a SNAPSHOT! These precious moments are when they are at their best. Being themselves; thus a moment in the African women lives.
